Reconnect With Your Why — Before the Burnout Hits
Many high performers don’t burn out because they’re doing too much.
They burn out because they’ve lost connection to why they’re doing it.
On paper, everything looks fine — even impressive.
But inside, something feels… off.
They’re working hard, showing up, hitting goals — but the fire’s gone.
In my coaching and workshops, I see this all the time — especially in high-achieving professionals who are also navigating cultural, gender, or generational expectations.
They don’t need more ambition.
They need alignment.
I Know This Path Firsthand
Years ago, I had built the kind of corporate career that made my parents proud and my LinkedIn look great.
But under the surface, I was quietly exhausted. I was doing everything I was supposed to — but I had drifted away from what lit me up inside.
That’s what led me to pursue something radically different:
climbing the world’s highest mountains, eventually completing the Explorer’s Grand Slam.
It wasn’t a break from ambition — it was a return to purpose.
Because success without alignment is just performance.
Why Purpose Isn’t Fluffy — It’s Fuel
When people reconnect with their deeper why, everything shifts:
They lead with more clarity.
They communicate with more presence.
They make decisions faster, and with less doubt.
And it doesn’t mean leaving your job or chasing some wild dream.
It means remembering what drives you — and using that to show up fully, wherever you are.
This is the focus of my Find Your Why program:
Helping professionals realign their internal compass — especially those who’ve been so focused on achievement that they’ve lost sight of themselves.
For AAPI and Women Leaders, This Work Is Especially Important
Many of us were raised to be practical.
To put others first.
To work hard and not make noise.
But somewhere along the way, many internalized the idea that their deeper desires didn’t matter — or worse, were selfish.
The truth?
Knowing what fuels you is not indulgent.
It’s foundational.
You can’t lead others with power and presence if you’re disconnected from yourself.
Closing Thought
If you’ve been feeling unmotivated, adrift, or like your goals no longer excite you — it’s not a failure. It’s a signal.
You don’t need to dream bigger.
You need to reconnect deeper.
Because leadership isn’t just about performance.
It starts with alignment.
Call to Action
That’s exactly why I created my Find Your Why and Dream Big programs — to help individuals and teams realign with what makes them feel truly alive and engaged in their work.
When leaders operate from that place, they don’t just perform.
They inspire.
